The Town of Saltville would like to reassure citizens and businesses that we are committed to serving you with the highest levels of response possible through the coming weeks. Water and sewer treatment plants will remain fully operational, and our Fire and Police Departments will continue to respond and patrol. However, the town will be reducing some services. Community events, recreation department activities, and limiting access to town facilities for meetings are part of this reduction. We will continue, though, the essential work of the town.

Water/sewer bills and taxes can be paid over the phone, or they can be deposited in the drop box at the side glass door for those choosing not to come inside. As of right now, the Town Hall doors will remain unlocked, but that could change fairly quickly. If and when that does happen, the main office will still be open for regular business hours, and the public will be promptly notified.

The Council and the town’s employees are committed to our citizens. We will maintain as much normalcy as we are able during these unique times.

Anyone having an emergency needs to immediately call 9-1-1. Those having questions can call 276-496-5342 during the hours of 8:30 – 5:00. If you have a water/sewer issue after 5:00, please call 276-706-7123. Updates will be posted on the town’s Facebook page and on the town’s website,
